Events

Our annual GUUG-Frühjahrsfachgespräch (FFG) (spring meeting) is a conference targeted at Unix system and network administrators and those interested in IT security related topics. Every year in autumn GUUG organizes the Linux-Kongress, the largest and most important Linux developers' meeting in Europe. [ 2010 | 2009 |2008 |2006 | 2005 | 2004 | 2003 | 2002 | 2001 ]

Since 2004 we organize the Free Software/Open Source Telephony Summit (FOSTEL). In 2006 the summit took place during LinuxTag. FOSTEL 2007 was organised by the OpenWengo project in Paris. [ 2007 | 2006 | 2005 | 2004 ]

On September 6 and 7, 2007 the first European Conference on Applied IPv6 and the first International Conference on LDAP took place in Cologne. Both conferences will take place again, details are just being discussed.

In parallel to the Frühjahrsfachgespräch 2007 GUUG organized the first international OpenSolaris Developer Conference took place. For the first time the OpenSolaris community met to present and discuss kernel and application programming, debugging, performance tuning, etc.. 2008th OSDevCon was organized in collaboration with the CZOSUG in Prague.
