Call for Papers
September 06/07, 2007, Holiday Inn Hotel, Cologne Germany
The European Conference on Applied IPv6 is a technical conference for IT professionals interested in the new Internet Protocol, Version 6 (IPv6).
It focuses on the real-world aspects of IPv6 use. The event brings together active and prospective IPv6 practitioners to share their experiences about deployment strategies and operations pitfalls, discuss IPv6 use in new projects and learn about upcoming trends and developments.
You are involved with IPv6 on a hands-on basis? Then share your experiences, good and bad, with those who follow in your wake.
We look for speakers who are willing to talk about
and similar IPv6-related topics.
Presentations should last about 45 minutes including discussion; in exceptional cases 90 minute slots may be allotted.
The one and only way to submit your abstract (plain ASCII text, approximately 200-800 words, accompaniead by your biography of about 100-300 words) is via the web form at http://www.guug.de/veranstaltungen/ecai6-2007/submission.html.
All abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee.
For the conference proceedings we expect you to submit a paper (no slides, please) of approximately 2-10 pages (A4 format, 1" borders, no page headers/footers, preferably LaTeX source or PDF). By submitting a paper you grant the conference organizers the non-exclusive right to publish your paper in the conference proceedings; you maintain the right to publish it elsewhere at your discretion.
As a speaker we will cover your accomodation and participation costs at the conference, including the social event. Beyond that, travel expenses are generally not covered by us; if this poses a problem to you, please contact us so we can try to arrange an additional sponsorship.
Additionally, BoF (birds-of-a-feather) sessions could be held, there will be a room for such spontaneous sessions. If you intend to propose a BoF, please let us know the topic so we can announce it in advance.
